The Scottish Open 2023 entry is now closed for entries
JudoScotland’s flagship event is back with a bang for 2023 after a two-year break.
Attracting Cadets, Juniors, Seniors and Masters from across the globe, the Scottish Open is a great way to kick-start the year. As a pre-season international competition, it is the perfect way to prepare for the busy competition schedule ahead.
Weigh-in Allowance
For the avoidance of doubt, the following allowances will be in place for weigh-in.
-66kg/-63kg and below 0.6kg
-73kg/-70kg and above 0.8kg
Spectator Ticket
Adult: £5 payable on the door via card or cash
Under 16’s: Free
Event Parking
Please be aware that parking at Inverclyde is limited so please allow plenty of time for parking. Venue staff will be on hand to offer help, so please be courteous.
The Scottish Open is intended to provide National Squad (or aspiring National Squad) and competition-experienced judoka with an appropriate level of competition, this event is, therefore, suitable for those that are at the developing athletes and athletes stage within the JudoScotland Player Development Framework.
In order to gain mat-side coaching access, coaches must register for accreditation prior to the competition closing date.
Coach RegistrationThe timeline for the event will be published on the website and our telegraph channel after the weigh-in on Friday & Saturday nights.
As a guideline for Saturday’s event:
Seniors will be in the morning, with a final block
Cadets will start after the senior’s final block.
