The JudoScotland National Training Centre is located on the 4th floor within the Edinburgh International Climbing Arena (EICA). Located on the west side of Edinburgh, the EICA is just beyond the Newbridge junction of the M8 and M9.
The access road to the EICA is marked by a brown Scottish Tourist board sign and a large orange pillar acts as a marker at the entrance to the access road.
The site has free parking and cycle stands are available.

Directions to Judo Scotland EICA
While there is no direct bus route to the Climbing Arena, the Lothian Buses X48 stops in the town of Ratho which is just along the canal towpath to our centre.
Get off at the bus stop opposite The Bridge Inn
Head back towards the Union Canal towpath and follow for 15 minutes
Arrive at EICA.
At M8 junction 2 change from M8 onto the M9, signposted Stirling, M9, Forth Road Bridge, A90.
Leave the M9 at junction 1 (signposted Airport), then at Newbridge roundabout take the 1st exit onto the B7030 (signposted Newbridge).
Take the first left after the petrol station (Cliftonhall Road).
Follow road straight avoiding signs for Ratho.
Travel round the side of the Newbridge Industrial Estate, under the railway bridge and passed the Newbridge One estate.
Travel under the bridges (first canal & then M8) and up the hill.
The EICA is on the left. It can be identified by an orange triangular pillar at the end of the road.
When you reach the City Bypass (A720) turn left following signs for Edinburgh North & West.
Follow the City Bypass for the North & West and exit the bypass at the junction for the M8.
Follow signs for Forth Road Bridge & Stirling (M9)
At Newbridge roundabout take the 1st exit onto the B7030 (signposted Newbridge).
Take the first left after the petrol station (Cliftonhall Road).
Follow road straight avoiding signs for Ratho.
Continue travelling along the road through the Newbridge Industrial Estate, passing under a railway bridge and passing the Newbridge One estate.
Travel under the bridges (first canal & then M8) and up the hill.
The EICA is the next junction after the bridge on your left. It can be identified by an orange triangular pillar at the end of the road.
Follow the A71 heading towards Livingston.
At the traffic lights at Wilkieston turn left (B7030).
Take the second road on the right identified by an orange triangular pillar at the end of the road.
Follow directions fr Edinburgh Airport (A8)
Continue on A8 until you reach Newbridge Roundabout.
At Newbridge roundabout take the 1st exit onto the B7030 (signposted Newbridge).
Take the first left after the petrol station (Cliftonhall Road).
Follow road straight avoiding signs for Ratho.
Continue travelling along the road through the Newbridge Industrial Estate, passing under a railway bridge and passing the Newbridge One estate.

When leaving Forth Road Bridge keep in right hand lane.
Follow signs for Glasgow M8 and Stirling M9 following the new M9 spur.
Continue straight ahead onto M9.
Leave the M9 at Junction 1, then at Newbridge roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the B7030 (signposted Newbridge).
Take the first left after the petrol station (Cliftonhall Road).
Follow road straight avoiding signs for Ratho.
Continue travelling along the road through the Newbridge Industrial Estate, passing under a railway bridge and passing the Newbridge One estate.
Travel under the bridges (first canal & then M8) and up the hill.
