Neil Adams MBE 9th Dan – Competition Rules Course

Neil Adams MBE, double Olympic silver medallist, World Champion and five time European Champion, is Britain’s highest decorated athlete of all time, for his service to Judo and the work he does around the world Neil was awarded the prestigious grade of 9th Dan by the International Judo Federation (IJF).  Neil is the ambassador for the JudoScotland Coaching Academy and has been part of our Gathering several times, he works tirelessly as ‘The voice of Judo’ on the international competition circuit as a commentator and more relevantly he is also a technical expert and referee supervisor for the IJF.

This practical and interactive course is for referees, coaches and players interested in the most up-to-date interpretations of the rules. Neil will provide you with some competition examples that have changed over the last year or so and will also provide you with the opportunity to ask some questions to help give you a better understanding of the current rules.
